Founded by Warren Blanc in the mid 1970's,
the IMAGE MAKER COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
incorporated as the 3430 CORPORATION dba the IMAGE MAKER in 1980.
the IMAGE MAKER offers a complete line of professional photography services.
From 8x10 to digital the Image Maker gets the light right!
Marcia and Ed have owned and operated the IMAGE MAKER
since 1992 when Warren retired.

Since then, in addition to Marcia's Commercial Photography Services,
the IMAGE MAKER has expanded to offer Ed's professional services.
Ed is an artist who wears many hats: Writer (novelist, poet, playwright, copy)
Actor (film and stage) - Publisher/Editor (small press)
Master of Ceremonies (hosting literary events) - Artist (watercolor) and
Wedding Officiant (Minister).

the IMAGE MAKER has a number of photographic specialties, one of which is the Photography of Fine Art. Marcia is the go-to photographer in Colorado when it comes to the perfect capture of paintings, sculpture and fabric art. the IMAGE MAKER has done the principal photography for books on artists as varied as Charles Partridge Adams, Gerard Curtis Delano, Mark Dickson, and Glenna Goodacre. Upcoming books on the collections of the Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art and the murals of Alan Tupper True feature Marcia's photography.

One of Marcia's passions is straight ahead, multiple exposure, large format (8x10) Architectural and Skyline Photography. She captures day and night in one shot! Her cityscapes grace the covers of Colorado tourist magazines and the websites/business cards of numerous Colorado concerns, large and small. Marcia even has a photograph on Mars. Literally! The Mars Lander - that deposited the first robot, Sojouner, on the surface of the planet - sports Marcia's archival black & white of the signatures of the Martin Marietta engineers who worked on the successful mission.


Marcia began here career as a Fine Art Photographer. Her multiple negative prints are lit with the human spirit and celebrate a timeless geography of The West. Marcia brings her artist's eye to all her Commercial Photography, creating photos that promote and sell products and ideas.

Along the way she also mastered other photographic genres, including Wedding Photography (she worked for Weddings USA for two years) and Portrait Photography.

Marcia also specializes in quick-turn around Event Photography. Your party guests can have their photos before they leave your event.
